all about wolvers
a long, piercing howl shatters the quiet of a northern forest. The howl grows into a chorus of many voices, and the fores valley soon echoes to the chilling sound. The leader of a wolf pack started this noise and other members joined in. The howling warns other wolf packs to keep away. There may be young cubs to protect or a kill to be guarded. For nearby farmers, the howling may mean that livestock become anxious and need to be calmed.
